Where do we catch the boat?
Our dock is located at Saga Haven Marina, Located in Benner Bay, St. Thomas, USVI.
Address is St. Thomas, Estate Bovoni, St Thomas 00801, U.S. Virgin Islands
How many people can we bring?
Anchors Away Charters can accommodate 1 person up to 12 guests on our 45 Ft
Lagoon Catamaran. We do ask, however, that when making your reservation you do notify us of how many will be in your group and how many families are represented.
What are the age requirements?
Anchors Away Charters invites Newborn and up onboard. We do count all guests, even children in our person count. No matter what age group your party consists of, we will be sure to provide a wonderful private charter experience. We will make sure that if you have children aboard, we will choose the right locations that will be safe and practical for all.
Does the boat have shade and bathrooms?
We have a 45ft Lagoon that has several areas of shade, both indoor and outdoor seating and dining space, as well as 4 restrooms onboard. Each family group will be assigned a stateroom and bathroom for your usage for the day. It’s a nice place to store all your personal belongings and change out of your wet bathing suit after swimming if you wish.
Do I need to bring my own snorkel gear?
Anchors Away Charters does supply snorkel gear on our excursions. You are also welcome to bring your own if you have a special preference.
What should we tip the Captain and Crew?
Industry standard is 20-25% of the cost of the charter. We do ask that you bring this in cash to give directly to the captain. If you have a 5 star day, please leave a review. We would love to hear from you!
What should we bring?
Non-aerosol sunscreen, towels, camera, dramamine (if seasickness is a concern) go-pro, swimsuit, change of clothes, passport if traveling to BVI, credit card, photo ID, and cash for tip for Captain and Crew.
What if there is bad weather the day of our trip?
Anchors Away will sail out rain or shine. Our captain will make the call as to whether or not the conditions are safe. If for some reason it is decided that it is unsafe, Anchors Away Charters will do our best to reschedule your trip or provide you with any available refunds.
What safety measures are in place on our yacht?
Our boat is also equipped with fire extinguishers, life preservers for adults & children aboard, Marine Radio and state of the art Radio and safety equipment. All safety instruction will be addressed once on board.
What Is Your Cancellation Policy
Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price plus crew gratuity of 20%. If you are cancelling because your trip has changed you must cancel within 14 days in order to receive a full refund.
